So far West Las Vegas has played two games. On Monday, March 17, Junior Varsity lost one game against Moriarty, which was a hard 18-0 loss for the Dons.

But the loss was avenged by both Varsity and JV when both took on Espanola on Tuesday, March 18th, which was a extremely windy day here in Las Vegas. Varsity played first and scored a close win, 5-3. Right after that game, JV was up, and had played in excruciatingly cold weather, even snow, but we they pushed through and won 16-5, beating Espanola.

The next game for our teams will be Tuesday, March 25, we will be playing Raton which will be a away game at 5:00pm. Hopes of coming out victorious for this game based on last years records against Raton are very high.

A Raton batter who is running bases is neck-and-neck from being tagged by one of our West Las Vegas Dons baseman. If the batter is on the base before the baseman tags him he is safe. If he is not on the base and the baseman tags him, then he is out. This was an exciting play, do you think the runner was safe on this play?
