Welcome to the West High School Chess Club!

The chess team kicked off the year with impressive performances the early tournaments, as most players held a winning record, and one player stayed undefeated until the final tournament.

In the final tournament, they delivered an impressive performance, but sadly, they were unable to defeat their rivals, Los Alamos, which caused them to fall from 2nd to 4th place. Despite a strong start, the Dons left the tournament determined to return next year and claim victory.

Although the high school and middle school teams couldn't secure a victory, the elementary team managed to bring home a second-place trophy, finishing just a few points shy of first place.
