Here at West Las Vegas Highschool we have several seniors that have accomplished there goals and we are heartbroken to see them leave but honored to know we have had such dedicated students and are thrilled to congratulate them in becoming the young adults they are today. With knowing how each student has their own logic and way of doing things we decided to pick a very intelligent student Naomi Mora to share her view of things as a senior and advice she'd give to younger students. She has been involved in many clubs which include MESA, Key Club, Writing Club and Business Professionals of America (BPA).
Naomi shares that she tries to stay involved as much as possible, although it has been more difficult this year than in previous years. In many great ways, Naomi has done an impressive job with representing our school. She recently helped host a dance for BPA which has helped our school and that club in very generous ways. By doing these clubs she helps us understand how they have become a great way to motivate us in our years here at the high school. The advice she would love to give to undergrads would be "don't be intimidated by other kids, they might just have the same interests as you and it can be a new friendship waiting to be made". WLVHS will always be appreciative of every student from the minute they enter as a remarkable child and leave as an empowering young adult.
